Good luck with it all---especially the cookies!!Audrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17439816358634679650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6301459893183462494.post-54985400989481805882010-06-17T22:13:46.627-06:002010-06-17T22:13:46.627-06:00Meg actually potty-trained herself just after she ...Meg actually potty-trained herself just after she turned 3. He'll learn one day. I wouldn't stress.

And for the nursing, you are Anna's mom for a reason. You know what's best for her. I weaned Meg around 13 or 14 months, but I have friends that nurse until 2 years old. You know when it's right for you. If someone has a problem, it's their problem. I'm still going strong with Isaac and don't have plans on stopping yet. I even packed a pump to girl's camp.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02733758090736204041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6301459893183462494.post-86095274390587482502010-06-16T12:48:19.326-06:002010-06-16T12:48:19.326-06:00I wish I could have nursed Kennley for as long as ...I wish I could have nursed Kennley for as long as you have...my milk dried up at 7 months and I was so bummed!! As for the little guy, I am a total believer that when they are ready they will just potty train on their own and I think they have far less accidents when they are older too. My nephew decided at age 4 he was ready one day and from there on out he never had an accident!!! Keep up the great work at being a mom....I think you are doing amazing.Brent~April~Kennleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03610641064294762741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6301459893183462494.post-73912784393407557382010-06-15T22:53:19.904-06:002010-06-15T22:53:19.904-06:00Stephanie is right on! People acted like I was a weirdo for nursing Slade for as long as I did as well and now that my milk dried up early and I cannot nurse Cale (lazy eater!!) and I have to bottle feed him it makes me so sad. I did everything I could to keep my milk up and finally gave up! We do what we can and that is the best we can do!

Good luck on potty training. I keep thinking that as soon as we move, please Lord let someone buy our hojme!, that is when we will really get Slade going on potty training. So far he has shown almost ZERO interest and to be honest I like diapers. So convenient and no messes. That $50/mo. diaper bill for the both of them isn't very nice though. :) Keep it up, I think you are FABULOUS woman, I aspire to be more like you!! xoElisabeth Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16745195588973880964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6301459893183462494.post-86418441113986806172010-06-14T15:32:01.522-06:002010-06-14T15:32:01.522-06:00I see nothing wring with the fact that Jacob isn&#...I see nothing wring with the fact that Jacob isn't trained. Benjamin was ready and it made it so much easier. Some of my friends trained their kids but really they were trained. One good piece if advise my sister gave me that I really think helped was once I did it, never go back to diapers. (except at night) I didn't even do pull up's because I really think they are just confusing for kids. As for nursing, only in the US is it weird that you are still nursing. It is still the best thing you can give your baby. My milk dries up and I have to take a prescription to keep it coming. By the time they are one I am just sick of taking the pill. So, more power to you. You are a good mom and you are the only one that knows whats best for your kids. Who cares what anyone else thinks. Good luck on the cookie finding recipe, let me know when you find a good one :)Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14032501127091846458noreply@blogger.com
